Now let’s get down to business, the new products!
1- Gin and tonic
Gin is trending and the success is so great that we brought two releases with the drink. The first is from the British confectionery The Treat Kitchen and accompanies a pot with hard candy of the same flavor.
The second also comes from the UK and brings a bottle of gin to drink while consuming the chocolate. The egg, from Edinburgh Gin Distillery, of course, was thought for an ideal harmonization of the drink with the chocolate and comes in rhubarb flavor with ginger liqueur.
2- Fried egg sandwich
Calm down, it does not include a real fried egg, but rather this nice egg made of colorful chocolate from the English confectionery Hotel Chocolat. An interesting detail: the chocolate mold was created using a slice of bread placed on a 3D scanner so that the egg-sandwich really looks like the real one.
3- Masterpiece
With a unique painting, this egg is ideal for those looking for exclusivity. With dehydrated cherries, pink pepper, sea salt and aerated chocolate, the Easter Disco Egg of the Canadian CXBO needs to be destroyed to reveal the filling. It’s so beautiful I would think twice before eating it!
4- Avocado
Yes, the legion of avocado fans does not stop growing, we even made a post totally dedicated to the subject here.
This egg is from the British supermarket chain Waitrose and despite its appearance, this egg has no avocado taste.
5- Cheese
Eggs made of cheese are still on the rise and not the first time a model made of cheese appears here (if you have not seen the previous Easter posts, see the beginning of this post), this is from the Asda supermarket chain and is made of blue cheese.
6- Coxinha
Nothing more Brazilian than a “Easter coxinha”, made with the country’s most beloved savory treat, it has a soft dough with crispy crust, stuffed chicken and cream cheese and several bakeries and confectioners have already created their own versions.
7- Sushi
Despite the Japanese influence, the sushi egg is a Brazilian creation that is shaking the internet and sharing opinions. There is no mid term, some love and others hate it. The fact is that the Brazilian loves sushi and loves Easter egg, yet the mixture is unusual.
To conclude, let’s make a toast with chocolate egg vodka that was successful in 2017 and is back in 2018 to the delight of lovers of alcoholic chocolates or would be chocolate drinks?
